The department of high-energy and elementary particle physics
with great sadness informs that on May 30th 2021
on 76th year of life from a severe illness died
member of staff of the faculty of physics since 1978

Elena Serafimovna Semenova,

who for many years worked as a secretary of several
Scientific Councils for defenses of PhD and Doctoral theses.


The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 2nd:
at 12:30 farewell at the morgue of Nikolayevskaya Bol'nitsa
at 13:00 ceremony at the church of Serafim Sarovsky (Oranienbaumskoe hw 11, ~40 minutes),
then the burial at the Peterhof cemetery.
